Master drummer/composer/artist Lawrence Williams talks about relating the the audience as a Jazz performer. Mr. Williams spent over twenty years drumming and composing for trumpet great Marcus Belgrave and also for world class vocalist Nancy King. His compositions have been recorded by the Dutch Metropole Orchestra and by Blue Note recording artists. He has been a mentor to Regina Carter, Kenny Garrett, Geri Allen, and David Valdez.
